Hi there! My name is Jacob Bruckheim, and I’m thrilled to share a glimpse of my journey with you. As a current sophomore at Drexel University, I’m fully immersed in my passion for Animation and Visual Effects, which has been a driving force in my life. 

My creative journey began during my high school years, where I spent two exhilarating years exploring the world of graphic design at the Thomas Edison High School of Technology. The experience was transformative, as it not only nurtured my artistic abilities but also ignited a deep curiosity for the power of visuals in storytelling. This curiosity led me to undertake a graphic design internship in college with Rajant, where I honed my skills further and gained invaluable industry insights. 

Beyond my studies and professional pursuits, I have a burning love for retro video game collecting. There’s something enchanting about holding a piece of gaming history in my hands, and it’s a hobby that continually sparks joy in my life. However, my passion extends beyond pixels and polygons. I’m also a proud owner of two adorable dogs who bring boundless happiness to my daily routine. 

Looking ahead, my dream is to work at Pixar, where imagination knows no bounds. I’ve always been captivated by their ability to create worlds that touch hearts and inspire millions. The idea of contributing to the magic of storytelling through animation and visual effects is a dream I hold close to my heart. When I’m not pursuing my artistic endeavors, I find solace in the adventure of traveling. Exploring new cultures, connecting with people from different backgrounds, and embracing the beauty of diversity all fill me with a sense of awe. One place that has captured my imagination is Japan, with its rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant pop culture. It’s a destination that beckons me, and I hope to experience its wonders firsthand someday.
